- DNA Replication is the process in which you replicate DNA and create 2 Identical DNA molecules.
- The first step is where a helicase splits the DNA into two strands.
- Then the DNA Polymerase starts to move creating the leading strand.
- Once the you have the leading and lagging strand, the DNA strands are start to fill with DNA bases creating 2 new DNA molecules.
2. Protein synthesis starts when DNA through Transcription and into RNA and from RNA to Proteins.
- When DNA goes through transcription, you get RNA.
- When translation occurs you use one of the DNA strands to search for the starting codon, the starting codon is AUG. U stands for Uracil, which replaces Thymine in Protein synthesis.
